San Juan Islands Shuttle System’s mission is to provide free or by donation environmentally responsible transportation to San Juan County residents in need of access to essential services, including seniors and persons with disabilities, who do not drive and/or do not have access to other transportation.

Our Mission
In eleven years of operation, our nonprofit has provided over 40,000 trips and/or deliveries to residents in need. We use primarily electric vehicles to keep costs down and have low environmental impact on the islands. We rely on rider and local community donations and support, and government grants to provide our valuable community service.
