In nine years, the ride system has provided over 40,000 trips for the targeted senior, disabled and low-income rural residents in the San Juan Islands. Based on grants and local support, IslandRides electric cars reduce costs, emissions and pollution while bringing reliable service to the community.

Our Mission
San Juan Islands Shuttle System’s mission is to provide free or affordable transportation for senior citizens, people with disabilities and the rural general public in the San Juan Islands. The assets and income of the organization shall only be used to promote the corporate mission.
